Congratulations on a very hard fought playoff victory for the Lucky 8s!! After losing the first round to the LongShots they dropped to the losers bracket and then proceeded to win 6 straight matches to double dip the Hot Pockets in a thrilling final!!! The semi final was also an incredibly close match where we learned how to deal with a tie in the playoffs vs the same LongShots team who had disposed of them in the very first round. Hats off to the LongShots for one of the most amazing displays of sportsmanship in our league's short history. They had won a one game playoff to decide the match only to find out the match was actually over due to the tiebreaker being most games won if the overall score is a tie. Another great story that emerged during the weekend was that of Rack Attack who battled their way up from 8th in the regular season to finish 4th in the playoffs! Huge thanks to all of you for another successful season, specially to our captains for an amazing job again of being the glue keeping this ship together! CHEERS!


Next season I would like to expand the league to 10 teams and lengthen the season to 27 weeks (play everyone 3 times). Some teams have already begun rebuilding their rosters and for those who haven't heard the news yet.... the Spin Doctors are splitting up to create an extra team for next season.






Lets all welcome in the new faces and try to recruit more! Our league is always in need for spares, so if you meet someone who might be interested in joining the league please forward their contact information to me.
I will be ranking all players A,B or C based on their statistics as well as known ability for the season. New players will start with averages dependent on skill level: A-8.0 , B-7.5 , C-7.0 Teams will be limited to only 2-A players per team to keep the league as even and fair as possible for everyone.
